Wellis ozone injector

This device is where the ozone gas begins to mix and dissolve in the water. If you are adding an ozonator to a spa that has never previously had one, you'll probably need this and a 3/4-inch flexible pipe to complete your installation. The small pipe from the ozonator fits onto the small male push fit connection.

The water flows through the 3/4-inch pipe, and sucks in ozonated air through a thin pipe that runs from the ozonator to the injector.

If necessary, it replaces the Mazzei ozone injector, but must be combined with ozone-resistant one-way valve, because unlike the Mazzei model, it is not fitted with a ball or spring.

Be aware that it can be complicated to set up an injector. The venturi effect will only work if you have a significant pressure difference across the injector; i.e. a maximum inlet pressure and a minimum outlet pressure. Spa manufacturers do a lot of testing to find the optimal location for the ozone injector; be prepared to do the same if you install your own injection system.
