SpaNet SV-series reversible heat pump

Perfectly adapted for hot tubs up to 2500 litres, this SpaNet reversible heat pump has the equivalent of 5.6 kW of heating or colling power, with a much lower power input requirement. It is compatible with all SpaNet's SV-series control systems. Directly linked to the control panel, this DualCore Heat and Cool pump can increase or decrease the temperature as required, no matter the season.

The heat pump plugs directly into a compatible SV control system with a plug-and-play data cable. The control box automatically detects the heat pump when you turn on the spa. You do not need an additional keypad to control the heat pump, because série SV spa keypads allow you to adjust the temperature and modify all the settings directly from the rim of your spa.

If you have the SmartLink WiFi module installed on your spa, you can also control the SpaNet SV heat pump directly from your smartphone, using the SpaLink app. You can easily raise or lower the temperature at specific times, for even greater energy savings.

The heat pump works in conjunction with the electric heater that is built in to your SpaNet control system. The electric heater will be deactivated most of the time, because the heat pump is much more efficient, but a range of configuration options allow you to program the electric heater kick in when necessary.

Connections and installation
The SpaNet SV heat pump is supplied with 50 mm pipe fittings and joints.
It can be installed either on a circulation pump or on a two-speed pump circuit. In this case, you will need to set the bypass as described in the installation manual.

Power Cable Connection
The SV heat pump is delivered prewired with an AMP plug (length 5 meters). It requires connection to a constant 230V power supply. The heat pump can source power directly from the SV spa controller or can be connected to a 30mA RCD protected 230V power circuit. The easiest and recommended method is to use the heat pump’s preinstalled AMP power cable and connect to a 230V outlet on the front of the SV spa controller.

Data Cable Connection
The SV heat pump is delivered pre-cabled with a plug-n-play control cable fitted with an RJ45 plug (length 5 meters), which transmits data between the heat pump and the control system. The data cable shouldbe connected to the EXP2 (heat pump) socket in the low voltage connection area of the SV controller (refer technical documentation).
