HydroAir Genesis 700W variable-speed blower
This HydroAir brand variable speed blower fits most portable spas. It allows you to choose the intensity of the air jet as well as its heat at the nozzle outlet. The blower is 700W and the air heater 250W, for a total consumption of 950W.
To prevent water backflow into the blower, the air hose between the blower and the spa must include a double air loop or gooseneck that will pass above the water level, and one or two non-return valves. If water has entered your old blower, remember to check the condition of the check valve and replace it if necessary.
A small keypad with three keys is used to control the blower if necessary.
The blower is supplied pre-cabled without plug. You can also choose to have it pre-cabled with an AMP plug or a mini J&J plug by our team.
An in.link plug is also available, but we recommend that you keep your existing cable if it's in good condition. Your blower may indeed be defective for many reasons, but the power cable is rarely to blame.
Note that the 2-year warranty does not apply to the carbon brush, also known as a motor brush, a graphite bonding agent that conducts the electrical current between stationary and rotating wires inside the motor. The carbon brush is a wearing part with a life expectancy of approximately 1500 hours.
