Colorimetric comparator for Chlorine

This small kit includes a color comparator and reagent tablets to analyze the free chlorine content and pH of your spa water. Reading is done by adding standard reactive tablets to water samples and then comparing colors.

The chlorine content is measured on 5 levels: 0, 1, 2, 3 and 5 mg/l.

There are also 5 colours for pH: 6,8, 7,7, 2,7, 6,7, 8, and 8,2.

This test method is correct, but it is an entry-level comparator, which does not offer the accuracy of other models, such as this kit.

Operating Instructions

• Rinse the comparator and its cap in water
• Fill the tubes by plunging the comparator into the water to a depth of 20 cm.
• Add one DPD tablet to the tube on the right and one Phenol Red tablet to the tube on the left
• Replace cap and shake Pooltester until the tablets are dissolved
• Compare the colour of the sample on the right to the scale of colour for chlorine
• Compare the a colour of the sample on the left side of the scale with the pH scale.
• Rinse the comparator and its cap after use
