3/8" ribbed barb air-bleed adapter

This adapter from 1/4-inch MPT to 3/8-inch ribbed barb is often used in air-bleed valves and pump drain valves.

The threaded end can be screwed into the drainage point (it can replace a drain plug) on the wet end of most Waterway and Aqua-Flo pumps, among others, and this part is sometimes used to connect a 3/8-inch pipe to help prime the pump.

Remember to change the o-ring at the same time as the adapter to guarantee proper sealing.

We recommend screwing in the adapter with a wrench, its thread being a little bit bigger than some drain plugs, but still suitable for replacement.

A stainless steel version is available in the same size, as well as a similar adapter but for 1/4-inch pipes.
